Research And Community Service: Measuring And Managing Impact

I had the chance to speak to students from the Raffles Girls’ School (RGS) on Wednesday, on the use of research in community service, as well as the measurement and management of social impact. I drew from my own community service and volunteer endeavours, took inspiration from a module I did on philanthropy and impact investing (especially the use of the logic model and theories of change, popularised by American scholar Paul Brest), and further reflected on my personal experiences.

Do click on the image below for the slides I used at the presentation, and many thanks to RGS again for the opportunity.
