The Messiah Complex: “Volunteerism For All The Wrong Reasons”

Two Fridays ago (July 7, 2017), I delivered a talk at “Making a Change and Overcoming Adversity” – organised by Silver Ribbon (Singapore), a charity which works “to combat mental health stigma, encourage early treatment, and facilitate integration of people with mental illness within the society through innovative means of promoting mental health literacy” – sharing about my pragmatic foray into volunteerism, some reflections from a decade of volunteerism, and also the journey of transformation.

Here are my slides and script (click the image for the PDF). What I’ve done is to combine both the slides (white background, odd-numbered pages) and the script (black background, even-numbered pages) into a single document:

The Messiah Complex: "Volunteerism for all the Wrong Reasons".

The Messiah Complex: “Volunteerism for all the Wrong Reasons”.
